Riding the Wind

This wall sculpture has an oval shape, with an irregular, natural edge. It preserves the character of the Ambrosia Silver Maple tree. Radiating from a small circular opening at the center is a fan-like pattern of deeply carved, spiral grooves. These grooves create a sense of motion, as if the wood is unfolding or being pulled inward toward the center, giving the piece a dynamic, almost vortex-like energy.
