Tidal Bloom
$ 2,900.00
A striking, one-of-a-kind wall sculpture carved from a premium slab of spalted red oak. Deep, rhythmic grooves sweep upward like unfolding petals or ocean swells, creating a powerful play of shifting shadows that brings dynamic movement to any space. The true magic of the piece lies in the wood’s natural history: erratic, jet-black spalting veins slice horizontally across the vertical wave patterns, juxtaposing an ancient geological timeline against the sculpture’s fluid physics. Perfect as a high-impact focal piece, this sculpture grounds modern interiors, offices, or coastal retreats with warm honeyed wood tones and pure tactile luxury.

Ambrosia Ribbon II
This wall sculpture is a flowing, ribbon-like form carved from spalted ambrosia maple, featuring a series of looping curves that rise and fold back on themselves. The continuous band undulates horizontally, creating three prominent arches with oval openings that pierce through the form. These openings allow light to pass through, casting soft shadows on the wall behind and emphasizing the sculpture’s sense of movement and depth.
The warm, natural grain of the wood—marked by spalting patterns and ambrosia lines—adds visual texture and highlights the material’s natural character. A darkened edge traces the outer contour of the ribbon, accentuating its sinuous silhouette and giving the piece a crisp outline against the wall.
Overall, the sculpture evokes a sense of fluid motion, as if a strip of wood has been gently carved twisted and lifted into rhythmic waves, balancing elegance, craftsmanship, and organic beauty.
White Oak Shell
Wall sculpture carved from a beautiful piece of spalted white oak.
The form radiates outward from a subtle focal point near its base, its deeply sculpted ribs unfold like the fan of a scallop shell.
The overall effect is one of quiet elegance and natural permanence. It recalls the geometry of marine life, the weathered textures of driftwood, and the passage of time recorded in annual growth rings. Simultaneously sculptural and geological, the work invites contemplation of nature’s ability to create beauty through repetition, growth, and gradual transformation. It stands as a celebration of organic form—where wood becomes shell, landscape, and memory all at once. It was sandblasted to showcase the grain and finished with Danish oil to a satin finish. Dims: 16”H x 16”W x 3”D

Oak Seashell
This wall sculpture was inspired by a scallop shell and carved from a beautiful piece of spalted pin oak. The form radiates outward from a central point, with deeply incised ridges creating a rhythmic fan pattern that echoes natural shell geometry. Rich variations in the wood grain accentuate the flowing contours, producing a sense of movement and depth. The irregular, undulating edge retains an organic quality, balancing precision craftsmanship with the spontaneity of natural growth. This is an end grain carving which is the most difficult orientation to pull off. It yields the best color and contrast between the sapwood & heartwood. It was sandblasted to showcase the grain and the medullary rays.
