Abstract sculpture carved from black oak burl. The downed tree was 350 years old from Haddonfield,NJ. 34″H x 14″W x 7″D Sand-textured and dyed black with an oil finish.
This sculptural form was carved from a large white ash tree. The end grain section of the log was turned, sculpted, sandblasted and dyed. Coated with a matte lacquer finish to enhance the contrasting texture. Dimensions: 20”D x 20” W x 10”H
