Dark Nebula
This sculptural form was carved from a large white ash tree. The end grain section of the log was turned, sculpted, sandblasted and dyed. Coated with a matte lacquer finish to enhance the contrasting texture. Dimensions: 20”D x 20” W x 10”H
Burgundy Twist
Elegant abstract sculpture carved from a 90 Lb white oak log down to 5 lbs. Turned on a wood lathe, carved, sanded and sandblasted. Dyed burgundy to showcase the grain lines and the medullary rays. Finished with Danish oil. Dims: 8″ diameter x 21″ Tall.
