This sculpture was carved from some beautiful wide grain marbled pin oak. The form was sculpted, deeply sandblasted and coated with linseed oil base finish to enhance the vibrant grain coloring. Dimensions: 8”D x 7” W x 30”H. The close-up images of the sandblasted textured surface reveal beautiful medullary rays that flow with the form.
